Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of this website and its content. Please read them before using the website.

Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Purpose of the website

This website presents the artistic work of Gianmarco Rossato (Johnny Rossato) and provides information about workshops, festivals, events and choreographies. It serves information and contact purposes only.

2. No automatic contractual relationship

Using this website does not create a contract between you and the operator. The content is not a binding offer, and information submitted through the website is not by itself a binding event agreement.

3. Booking and event enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not reserve an event date and does not confirm a booking. Enquiries are handled in the order they arrive and are always subject to availability.

4. Written confirmation

A booking or artistic collaboration exists only once it has been agreed in writing by the parties involved, including the date, the services, the fee and the practical conditions. Separate artistic collaboration agreements, festival contracts or organizer conditions may apply in addition to these terms.

5. Event information

Event dates, locations, schedules, instructors and organizer details are published in good faith on the basis of the information available at the time.

This information may change or be cancelled by the respective organizer. Please verify the final details with the relevant event organizer before booking travel, accommodation or tickets. No liability is accepted for changes made by third-party organizers.

6. Intellectual property

Choreographies, stepsheets, teaching materials, tutorials, videos, photographs, logos, graphics, website texts, website design and the Learn with Johnny brand identity are protected by copyright, related rights and trade-mark law, and belong to Gianmarco Rossato or to the respective identified authors and rights holders.

7. Permitted use of stepsheets and tutorials

Stepsheets and tutorials published or linked here may be used for personal learning and for ordinary dance teaching, for example in classes, clubs and social dance events, where this is otherwise permitted.

The credit of the choreographer and of any other identified author must always be preserved.

8. Prohibited use

Without prior written authorisation, the content of this website may not be sold or licensed, falsely attributed, republished as someone else's work, modified in a deceptive way, or used commercially outside the permitted teaching context. Any use that removes, hides or misrepresents the credit of the choreographer is not allowed.

It is also prohibited to interfere with the technical operation or security of the website, to access non-public areas, to extract content systematically by automated means, or to use the contact possibilities for unsolicited advertising.

10. Website availability

The website is offered free of charge and without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical faults or reasons beyond our control may lead to temporary interruptions, and content may be changed or removed at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

Liability is limited to damage caused intentionally or by negligence in accordance with the applicable statutory rules. Beyond this, no liability is accepted for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the website or from reliance on information published by third-party organizers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Italian or European Union law.

12. Mandatory legal rights

These terms do not affect mandatory rights that you have under Italian or European consumer law. Where a provision of these terms would conflict with such a right, the mandatory legal rule prevails.

13. Changes to these terms

These Terms of Use may be updated to reflect technical, legal or operational changes. The version published on the website at the time of your visit applies, and the date of the last revision is shown below.

14. Severability

If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The invalid provision is to be replaced by the statutory rule that comes closest to its purpose.

15. Applicable law

This website and these Terms of Use are governed by Italian law, irrespective of the language version you are reading and of the country from which you access the website.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

16. Jurisdiction

For disputes with consumers, the courts designated by mandatory consumer-protection law remain competent; in particular, a consumer may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence and may only be sued there.

For disputes between businesses, and only where this is legally permissible, the competent Italian courts apply.
